Martian II Receiver Antennas Mount V3

Martian II Receiver Antennas Mount V3

Description

This Is A Mount I Did To Adapt My X4R-Sb Receiver To A Martian Ii Frame. I Designed This With Printing In Flexible Filament In Mind And Even Though I Advice Using Such Type Of Filament For The Protection Purposes It'S Meant I Don'T See Why You Couldn'T Use Any Other Materials If You'D Like To. If You'Re Printing With Flexible Filament Do Increase The Scale In Your Slicer (Around 5-10% Depending On Your Filament'S Stretch Properties) Because It Will Shrink. 100% Scale Is Doable, It Just Makes It A Bit More Of A Tight Fit Causing Stress On The Standoffs. I Redesigned This Mount To Be Horizontal So It Saves More Space And Is Lightweight Compared To My Previous Design. Also The Underbridge Is To Pass A Zip Tie Between The Mount And Frame So It Doesn'T Come Out The Frame To Secure The Rx. This Way It Prevents Of Breaking The Zip Tie On A Crash Like It Has Happened To Me. This Design Does Require Support Which Is Unadvised With Flexible Filaments But With The Proper Settings The Supports Do Come Out Fairly Easy. Cheers.
