SpeedHoop Embroidery Hoop
Description
This Is A (Probably) New Take On The Old Concept Of An Embroidery Hoop. Rather Than A Split Outer Hoop, This One Works With A 5-Start Tapered Thread. To Use It, The Cloth Is Draped Over The Lower Part, Then The Top Part Is Screwed On. Since It'S A 5-Start Thread (Pentuple Helix), It Only Takes About A 30 Degree Twist To Jam The Parts Together, Clamping The Cloth In Place. Even For A Fumbling Non-Fiber-Arty Engineer Like Me, I Can Do This In About 5 Seconds. This Also May Be Useful To People With Dexterity Problems Due To Arthritis Or Similar Issues Because It Is Way Less Fiddly Than The Traditional Design.
