Double Amazon Dash Button Case
Description
After Designing My Single Amazon Dash Button, I Realised That I Wanted A Group Of Three Buttons Next To Each Other And Created A Case For That. Then I Realised That I Could Chop Up The Original Model To Get A Modular Design That Can Be Stuck Together On The Computer For Two Or More Amazon Dash Buttons! Here Is A Ready-To-Print Version Made Using It That Holds Two Amazon Dash Buttons. There Are Ready-To-Print [Single](Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2759878) And [Triple](Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2762921) Button Versions And The Modular Page Is [Here](Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2762876) It'S Designed To Be Used Either With The Sticky Pad Included (And Used To Stick It To The Inside Back Of The Case) Or You Will Need To Use A Mm Thick Spacer/Foam Pad To Hold It In Place. The Back Holds In Place Purely With Friction As Long As You Don'T Take It Off And Put It On Too Many Times. I Left A Bit Of Additional Space Around The Outside Of The Dash To Allow For Shrinkage Of Different Printers, So If The Dash Isn'T Stuck In With Double-Sided Tape Or Similar It Will Rattle Around. It'S Ideal To Stick Onto A Wall Etc Next To Whatever You Want To Control/Order. I Use Alternate Versions At Home That Can Hold Multiple Dash Buttons (See Remixes) Where I'Ve Cut An Icon For Whatever It Controls Into The Case As I Don'T Use Them To Actually Order Things From Amazon, But To Talk To A Raspberry Pi Listening For The Broadcast When They Connect To My Network! I Created It In Solidworks And Included Those Files As Well As The Stls For Printing. The Case Is 3.2Mm Thick As I Found That Any Thinner With My Printer With It'S 0.4Mm Nozzle The Inside And Outside Of The Wall Separate.
