A Little Extra Space Underneath For Free Airflow. Feet Are Spaced For Bud Industries Pre-Perforated Back Panels. Controller Is Attached To Bracket With #4 X 5/8" Sheetmetal Screws, With A Stack Of Stainless Flat/Split/Flat Washers Between The Big Aluminum Heatsink And The Plastic Bracket. (Stainless Is A Relatively Poor Conductor Of Heat, Which Is Why Stainless Cookware Always Needs A Nice Thick Layer Of Aluminum Sandwiched In Between The Steel).
