Description
Model Is Probably Scaled Down By 10, So Just Move The Period And Scale Is Fine. This Is An Eppendorf-Tube Centrifuge With A Spherical Hinge Cover And Freely Rotatable Tubesockets. Alternatively I Designed A Static Tubeholder Rotor That Creates A Lot Less Airdrag And Should Make Higher Speeds Possible. The Motorsocket Is Now 26 X 29 Mm In Width And 42 Mm In Hight. ( Differs From The Picture ) The Rotor Is Mounted Directly Onto The Motor And Has A Stability Support In The Spherical Cover And Also On Top Of The Motor Socket, It Also Can Be Further Stabilized With A Screw Through The Cover Into The Rotor. The Motorsocket Has Now Holes To Apply Cooling To The Motor. There Are Also 4 Holes To Screw Rubberfeet Onto The Bottom Of The Main Body I Printed The Main Body With 10 % Infill And The Rotor At 100% Infill. If You Would Print All With 100% Infill It Would Weight About 1.2Kg. Be Aware Of The Dangers Of Centrifuge Accidents.
