Delta Printer Level Base
Description
Created This Item Out Of 20Mm Plate Steel In Order To Be Able To Get The Surface For My Large Delta Printers (Over 1.2 Meters Tall) To Be Level And Not Change Over Time (This Will Not Flex Of Warp). In The Past I Have Had Them Sitting On The Concrete Floor Which Was Relatively Level But A Pain To Work On. I Have Now Moved The Room They Were In To One With Carpet And Wanted To Put Them Up On A Desk But This Meant The Desk Was Not Level And I Did Not Want To Have To Put Shims In Everywhere. The Plate Has 5 X 10Mm Holes Drilled And Tapped (One On Each Corned And An Extra One In The Middle Of One Side). 2 Bolts Are On The Corners Of The Front And One On The Middle Of The Back Edge Are Used To Set The Level (Three Legs Is The Only Way To Level Something). There Are Then 2 Additional Legs On The Comers On The Back Used To Ensure It Can'T Rock And Are Only Lightly Extended (I Have Cut Slots In These So I Can Use A Screwdriver From The Top To Wind Them Down Till They Touch The Table Top).
