Drum Rack T Clamp
Description
This Is Based On A Drum Rack Clamp From A Roland Electronic Drum Set. The Clamp Is Used To Join 2 Pieces Of 1.5" Tubing - Should Work With Any Brand Of Drum Rack That Uses Standard Round Tubing. The Hardware Required Are 2 Drum Lug Screws 1.5" Long And Two 12/24 Hex Nuts. Drum Rack Tubing Can Be Purchased From A Music Store, But I'Ve Found That 1.25" Electrical Metal Tubing Or Conduit Will Work As Well. *Update 2/22/2018* I'Ve Had A Couple Of The Clamps Fail In Use So I'Ve Modified The Design To Make It Stronger. Uploaded New Stl File: Rack T Clamp Hd - Increased The Wall Thickness - Moved The One Bolt Location Closer To The End To Reduce Stress When Clamping Down On The Pipe My Original Prints Were In Pla With 20% Infill. I Reprinted One In Petg Still With 20% Infill And That One Failed Also. In Addition To The Model Redesign, I'M Currently Printing A New Copy In Petg With 60% Infill - Hopefully This Will Now Be Strong Enough.
