Ford Mondeo Mk4 Phone holder for OnePlus 3T

I'M Not A Professional 3D Modeler, But I'M An Engineer Designing Mechanical Stuff In Inventor And Fusion 360, So Forgive Me If Some Surfaces In The Models Are A Littlebit Odd. This Is My First Upload To Thingiverse. After Buying And Using Several Phone Holders For My Oneplus 3T For Use In My Car (Ford Mondeo Mk4), Which All Failed, I Decided I'D Try Designing One Specifically For My Car. First I Made Some Pictures Of The Dashboard And The Left 'Triangular' Cover Of The Car'S Console, Which I Imported In Fusion As A Canvas. From There I Started The Reversed Engineering Process Of That Coverplate. After Printing And Testing/Fitting Two Physical Models I Got The Right Dimensions So That The Coverplate Snaps Into Place Correctly. After That The Modelling Of The Phoneholder Started. For That I Downloaded A Step File Of The Oneplus 3T From Grabcad, But That Model Wasn'T Accurate. So I Reverse-Engineered My Own Phone By Taking Pictures Of The Phone From Different Angles And Used Them In Fusion 360 To Model The Phone And Use This Model To Design The Holder. After Three Test-Prints The Model Was Accurate Enough To Snug-Fit The Phone Into. In This Post You'Ll Find Four Stl'S: - Ford Mondeo Mk4 Console Cover Left.Stl This Is A Plain Coverplate For The Mondeo Mk4, Which Can Be Used For All Purposes, Like A Replacement Cover, Or To Use As A Template For Other Phoneholders Or Accessories. I Think When You Mirror This Part, You Can Use It For The Right Coverplate Of The Console - Oneplus 3T Body.Stl This Is A Simple Model Of The Oneplus 3T. It Has No Camera-Bump Or Side Buttons, It Was Used Merely For The Phone Holder To Fit The Cross Section Of The Phone. - Ford Mondeo Mk4 Console Cover With Hinge For Phone Holder.Stl This Is The Coverplate With The Hinge. - Oneplus 3T Phone Holder With Hinge.Stl This Is The Actual Oneplus 3T Phone Holder With Hinge.
