Hypercube 300 Lite X Carriage

Description

The Hypercube 300 Lite X Carriage Is A Completely New X Axis Carriage And E3D V6 Or Volcano Extruder Mount For The Original Hypercube Corexy Or Hypercube 300 Corexy 3D Printers. As Its Name Implies It Is 50% Lighter Than The Stock Parts. This Will Allow Users To Run More Aggressive Acceleration And Jerk Settings For Faster Prints While Maintaining Print Quality. The Lite X Carriage Also Centralizes The Mass Of The Carriage Around The X Rods To Provide Better Balance Thus Reducing The Twisting In The X Rods That Causes Scraping Of The Nozzle On Printed During Rapid Y Axis Movements. There Are Two Fan Ducts Options Provided 1 Each For V6 And Volcano Heater Blocks. Orientation For Printing - For Some Reason Thingiverse Had The Stl'S Pointing Every Which Way. 1. The Carriages Should Be Printed On Their Sides Sor The Part That Hold The Hot End Touched The Bed. Look At The Part It Will Make Sense. There Is Only One Way To Print It Without Support And It Worked Great. 2. The Sensor Mount Should Be Printed With The Bracket Flat On The Best And The Loop The Sensor Goes Through Pointing Up. This Makes It Stronger/More Durable. 3. The Fan Ducts Print Great On Their Backs With The Fork-Like Part Pointing Up. Make Sure You Set A Minimum Of 3 Top And Bottom Layers So It Seals Up Decently If The Bridging For The Top Span Does Not Come Out Perfect. Note That This Duct Will Blow So Much Air At The Hot End That You Will Have To Run The Fan At Less Than 100% Speed Or The Hot End Will Never Reach The Target Temp And Marlin Will Shut Off The Hot End For Safety. 70-80% Fan Speed Works Great. 4. The Other Parts Should Be Printed As Shown.
