Hello Everyone This Is My Concept Design Of A Frame For A Rodin Vortex Coil It Is A Magnetic Device, And Is Used For Wireless Charging, Speaker Magnets, Mag Levs, And So On. 12 Parts Total - Eleven Lugs, And One Center Hub. This Is My Updated Version, Now With Radial Channels On The Lugs To Accommodate Cable/ Zip Ties. The Construction Of This Rodin Vortex Coil Requires The Following - An Fdm Style Printer, Capable Of Printing In A 220X220X240Mm Of Print Space 2Kg Of Pla Filament, Color Of Choice 2 Reels Of 24Awg Magnet Wire, @ 500Ft Length, Wound Together @ 60Ft, 12 Winds Zip Ties Or Elastic Bands To Capture The Winds On The 11 Lugs On The Frame Enjoy! Update: 08June2018 - I Used 720Ft Of 22Awg Magnet Wire, And Then Braided It Into 12 Strands For A Total Length Of 60Ft. Winding The Coil Was, Well "Fun" - The Cut Channels For The Zip Ties Were Little Biting Hellions On My Fingers Throughout Most Of The Winding. Still, It Works & Looks Great!
