Uhhh Not Really To Be Honest. The Thread Pitch To Have A Big Strong Coarse Thread Is A Loose Pitch So The Clamping Force Is Not Super High, Which Means The Caliper Isn'T Rock Solid In The Base. But That Being Said It'S Definitely Solid Enough To Take A Good Measurement! Works Good For Me. One Little Hack If You Want A More Secure Clamp Is To Put A Little Rubber Pad On The Base Side Of The Clamp Jaws.
