Cura Scale & Horizontal Expansion determiner

Cura Scale & Horizontal Expansion determiner

Description

This Is (I Hope) A One Off Method To Determine The Correct Adjustments To Be Made To Your Slicer Settings, Before You Print An Actual Part Which Requires Mating To Another, Or One Which Requires Dimensional Accuracy. The Part Itself Is Simple. It Has A Set Of Geometric Shapes Which Shall Be Used To Check The Dimensions & Cross Ref Against The Design Dimensions. (I Have Added A 22Mm Hole For A 608 Bearing Fit As Well For Those Who Have One Laying Around) The Trick To Doing This Is To Layout The Parts In A Grid Layout 1St. I Chose A 3X3 Grid. I Then Manipulated Per Model Settings: Scale On The Y-Axis (100% / 102% / 104%) & Horizontal Expansion On The X-Axis (0Mm , 0.2Mm , 0.4Mm) Print. Then Next Mark Or Index All While Still On The Build Plate Before Removing. You Wont Know Which Is Which If Not. Next, Check The Measurements For Each & Note Down On A Piece Of Paper, Ideally In A Grid Pattern. Check Your Completed Doc To Determine Which Setting To Go Ahead With.!
