Loc-Line screw on magnetic base for helping hands

Description

I Wanted To Build A Helping Hands Using My Knock Off Loc-Lines I Got From Amazon. I Designed This To Screw Onto The Standard Threaded Base And Hold A 1" X .125" Magnet From Amazing Magnets. I Printed In Abs And This Allowed Me To Put The Magnet In (It'S Snug But Easy Enough To Push In) And Then Use Acetone To Glue The 1.5Mm Cap On, If You Use Pla, I Suggest Gluing The Magnet In Place And Gluing The Cap On To Make It Very Secure (The Magnet Is Rated To Pick Up About 48Lbs And Is $3.20Ea. The Other End Of The Lok-Line I Used An Alligator Clip That Has Threaded Handle, I Pulled One Piece Off The End And Used A #8-32 Screw To Attach It To The Loc-Line. I Had To File Down The Other Loc-Line Ball A Little To Allow Them To Snap Back Together. I Also Put Heat Shrink On The Alligator Clips To Prevent Scratching And Help Avoid Making Them A Heat Sync. I Then Painted A 1/4" Piece Of Steel Plate And Put Some Rubber Feet On The Bottom To Use As My Base (My Workbench Is Wood) If Your Workbench Is Steel You Can Skip This And Use Them Straight On Your Bench.
