I Am Stuck On Crutches For 12 Weeks Which Is Rubbish. It Has Given Me Time To Improve My 3D Modelling And 3D Printing Though. The Standard Issue Uk Crutches Are Not Comfortable And Dig In To The Forearm. I Designed These Simple Wrist Guards To Give More Support To The Forearm And Wrist When Walking Around. They Make It Noticeably More Comfortable. Ideally The Flat Surface Would Be Curved But That Would Also Be A Pig To Print So It Remains Flat. I Made It Quite Thin So It Bends Into A Curve For Greater Comfort But With Bracing On The Back To Stop It Breaking. There Are Two Holes In One Of The Support Mounts In Case You Want To Secure With Wires - I Never Bothered And Had No Problems. I Have Managed To Break One When I Dropped The Crutch But They Are Easy Enough To Reprint. Mine Are Printed In Petg As That Is All I Have But I Am Sure They Would Work In Abs Or Pla Too
