My First Creation For A Friends Cosplay Of The Character Raven From Rwby (Birdmom). Does Not Have The Dust Fins On The Barrel, As I Couldn'T Get Any Design That Would Print Cleanly With The Small Spaces Involved. There Are Shafts In The Edges And Blade Sized For A 1/8" Rod. Depending On Print Material/Conditions That Rod May Or May Not Slide In Easily. It Had Plenty Of Room On My Test Print But Was Very Tight On The Final Build. You Need At Least One Rod In The Blade For Stability, Otherwise It Is Floppy. I Didn'T Test If Printing The Blade At 100% Infill Might Help That, But I Don'T Think It Would With How Thin The Blade Is. The Shafts In The Edges Are Mostly For Alignment And Shouldn'T Be Needed For Stability. The Fit Of The Top Of The Blade Into The Sheath Is Very, Very Tight. Again, Depending On Material And Conditions It May Fit Perfectly Or Need Some Sanding To Go In Smoothly.
