This Is A Mount To Hold A 12Mm Inductive Probe To The Extruder Bracket On The Anet A8 It Is Installed Behind The Part Cooling Fan Using The Same Screws That Came With The Printer I Am Also Using The Spriya Fan Duct, A Fantastic Improvement Over The Original Fan Duct - The Probe Holder Is Compatible With Fan Ducts That Fit Over As Well As Inside The Mouth Of The Fan: Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2133328 Wiring: I Would Highly Recommend This Site As It Is Where I Found Most Of The Information I Needed, And It Provides Information For A Number Of Different Models Of Probes And Methods For Connecting Your Probe, So You Can Choose What Will Work Best For You: Https://3Dprint.Wiki/Reprap/Anet/A8/Improvement/Autobedleveling Firmware Configuration: Probe Offsets: The Probe Is About 40Mm In Front Of And 50Mm To The Right Of The Nozzle. I Would Also Advise Setting The Firmware So That It Thinks That The Probe Is 1Mm Below The Nozzle. This Means That The Probe Triggers While The Nozzle Is Still 1Mm Above The Bed, Preventing The Nozzle From Crashing Into The Bed Before The Probe Triggers, Which Could Result In The Nozzle Crashing And Bending The Extruder Assembly Backwards, Preventing The Probe From Ever Triggering, And Potentially Causing Damage To The Nozzle, Bed And Linear Rods. You Will Also Need To Enable Z_Safe_Homing (Assuming That You Are Using Marlin) To Prevent The Printer From Trying To Use The Probe When It Is Not Directly Above The Bed.
