<H3>A Pen Mount For The Monoprice Select Mini To Convert It Into A Plotter. <B>This Modification Is Reversible!</B></H3> <H5>Materials:</H5> - 1 <B>Rollerball</B> (Not Ballpoint) <B>Pen</B> Or <B>1 Marker</B> - 1 <B>Roll Of Tape</B> - 2-4 <B>Binder Clips</B> <H5>How To Use Mount:</H5> 1. <B>Secure The Mount</B> On Top Of The Fan. <B>Put A Pen Inside The Mount</B>. If It Does Not Fit, Use A Roll Of Tape To Convince It To Do So. 2. <B>Send The Extruder All The Way To The Bottom</B> Manually To The End Stop Switch. 3. Make Sure The <B>Pen Is Touching The Bed</B> Enough To Stain It. 4. <B>Secure A Paper</B> Onto The Build Plate With <B>Binder Clips.</B> <H5>How To Plot:</H5> 1. Load Up An Image Into <B>Paint.Net.</B> 2. Use The <B>"Adjustments -> Posterize"</B> Option And <B>Set All Values To 2.</B> 3. <B>Save</B> The Image. 4. Load Up Your New Image Into <B>Cura.</B> 5. <B>In The Dialog</B> That Pops Up, Set The <B>Height To 0.35</B> And The <B>Base To 1Mm.</B> Also Use <B>"Darker Is Higher"</B>. 6. <B>Click Ok.</B> 7. In The Print Settings, Set <B>Layer Height To 0.175</B> And <B>Line Width To 0.1Mm.</B> 8. Turn On <B>Retraction</B> And <B>Z Hop.</B> 9. <B>Turn Off Print Cooling.</B> 10. Set <B>Heatbed To 0 Degrees</B> And <B>Nozzle To 10 Degrees.</B> 11. <B>With The Model</B>, Lower It <B>Under The Build Plate</B> Until The <B>Image Background Is Gone</B> And Only <B>Desired Details Are Visible</B>. Optional: Inspect The .Gcode To Make Sure The Image Is Only One Layer Tall. 12. <B>Have Fun 2D Printing!</B>
