Description

This Is An Iphone Holder That I Designed For My Old Car (Opel Astra From 1996) Which Only Has A Cassette Player In Its Radio. I Don'T Use Cassettes So I Figured I Can Use The Slot For Something Different. The Position Of The Radio Makes For A Good Spot For A Phone Where It Does Not Obstruct The View And Is Easily Accessible. The Phone Is Inclined At A 15° Angle Which Is Comfortable For Me And Fits The Car Nicely. I Have Tested It Only With An Iphone 7 But It Should Fit Both 6 And 8 Just As Well. Im Providing An Editable Sketchup File In Case You Need To Tweak The Design For A Different Car Brand Or In Case You Want To Put A Different Logo On Yours. Edit: Updated The Model, Now The Two Parts Are Separate So That The Face Can Be Printed With Higher Resolution Than The Part Which Is Not Visible. Updated .Skp File Is 100:1 Scale.
