INDUCTIVE SENSOR RACK AND PINION PITAN MOUNT FOR PRUSA I3
Description
This Is A Manual Adjust Sensor Carriage For Automatic Bed Leveling. -The Main Problem I Have With Auto Leveling Was That Some Times My Bed (Made Of 3Mm Plywood) Would Possibly Warp. -This Always Meant I Had To Redo All The Adjustments Between The X-Axis And The Sensor Height. I Also Never Quite Liked The Adjustments In Available In The Firmware Regarding Sensor Height. -That Is Point Of The Rack And Pinion Carriage For The Sensor. To Decrease Time Spent Adjusting Anything Mechanically And In The Firmware/Software. -Decreasing The Weight And Size Was Also My Goal, Trying To Keep The Sensor As Close To The Nozzle As Possible. -You Must Slide The Key Onto The Allen Bolt Completely. -Tighten 2 M3 Nuts So They Are Some What Centered Relative To The Rack And Pinion Gear. -The Way You Get The Pinion On Is To Tighten Two M3 Nuts Really Tightly Where There Profile Matches Then That Is Pressed Into The Pinion. -Tighten The Last M3 Nut Against The Outside Profile Of The Carriage. That Should Provide A Tight Fit For Everything And Bring The Distance From The Extruder Down. Hardware Used 1- M3 X 2Omm Allen Bolt 3- M3 Nut Hope You Like It
