Anet A6 Z-motor scale
Description
This Mod Allows One To Track Changes Of The Z-Axis. Every Tooth On The Scale Ring Means A Change Of 0.1 Mm In Height. Every Tenth Tooth Is Longer For Reading 1 Mm Changes. I Used A Permanent Marker To Mark A *Zero*. I Also Marked Every Second Tooth To Be Able To Count 0.2 Mm Changes. That Wasn'T The Brightest Idea, As You Cannot Read The Marks Well Against The Black Background :) You Have To Loosen And Lift The Spindle Rod To Insert The Toothed Ring. The Needle Clamp Has To Be Clipped To The Socket. Both, The Toothed Ring And The Needle, Can Be Adjusted During The Operation Of The Printer. Print Both Parts In Different Colors Or At Least The First Few Layers Of The Needle Clamp. Alternatively Use A Permanent Marker To Mark The Needle. Otherwise You Won'T Be Able To See The Needle Above The Scale. Can Someone Please Test If This Also Works For An Anet A8?
