Float-Over-Belt PCB Endstop Mount for 2020 Extrusion
Description
An Endstop Mount For The Pcb Type Endstops Commonly Sold On Amazon And Other Suppliers, As Designed By Makerbot. This Allows The Limit Switch To Be Mounted To Your 2020 Extrusion On The Same Side As Your Belt, Which Is Most Useful When You Cannot Get Reliable Contact With Your Mechanisms On Any Of Your Other Sides. You Will Need A Pair Of Clippers To Cut The Soldering Pins And Remove Excess Solder From The Bottom Of The Pcb To Ensure A Flush And Square Mounting, As Well As 2 M3 X 8 Mm Nuts And Bolts. Longer Bolts May Be Used But Are Not Recommended, As They Will Interfere With The Installation On To The Extrusion Without The Use Of Washers To Offset Them (See Pictures). You Will Also Need 2 M5 X 10 Mm Screws And T-Nuts. This Provides A Very Firm Hold On The Limit Switch That Is Resilient To Mechanism Crashes, Such As Which May Occur When You Are Modifying Your System Logic. This Was Tested On A 1.9 M X 1 M Gantry System For A Farmbot And Provides Good Contact With The V-Wheels On The System.
