Short and Long Golf Tees
Description
###Description I Designed These Golf Tees After Common Plastic Tees Found In Stores. These Tees Can Be Printed In Pla Or Abs, But Abs Is Recommended Due To It Being Able To Withstand The Impacts Better And It Has The Ability To Be Acetone Smoothed Afterwards. The Photos Posted Are Of The Short (Par 3) Tees. I Added Named/Initials To Mine, But Those Were Not Included In The Uploaded Stl Files. If You Want To Add Your Own Name, I Have Included The Freecad (Fcstd) Files That Have The Editable Text Included. The Text Is Also Rounded Off For A Better Looking Finish, But Nothing Will Be As Clean As No Text At All. ###Performance The Upright Tees Will Look Better After Printing, But Printing The Tees Without A Base Horizontally (With Supports) Will Produce A Better Performing Tee. Also, Adding A Large Number Of Walls (6-8) Will Produce A Better Performing Tee. After Extensive Testing, Abs Highly Out-Performed Pla Tees. The Long Abs Tees Printed Horizontally Lasted 10+ Drives (On Average) And, If They Broke, It Was Normally Due To Poor Layer Adhesion Mixed In With A Bad Impact. The Short Abs Tees Printed Horizontally Did Not Break At All. The Pla Tees Broke After Only A Few Shots Regardless Of Printing Orientation. Tldr: If You Want A Pretty Tee That Won'T Be Used, Go With Pla. If You Want A Tee That Will Last A Round Or Two, Go With Abs (Printed Horizontally With Supports).
