TS100 Silicone Grip (Soldering Iron)
Description
This Is An Mold For Making An Silicone Grip For The Popular Ts100 Soldering Iron. This Grip Allows You To Hold The Soldering Iron Much More In The Front And With An Better Profile Wich Will Lead To More Precise Soldering Work Even For Newbies. Also The Grip Acts As A Little Stand And Keeps The Hot Part Safe In The Air When It Lies On The Table. The Round Groove On The Metal Part Is Still Accessible Wich Should Keep It Compatible With Most Of The Dedicated Ts100 Stands. Important: Only Use High Temperature Silicone! I Used 2 Component Liquid Heat-Resistant Silicone Wich Is Normally Used For Tin Casting And Is Temperature Stable >350°C. Do Not Use Silicone That Is Not Indicated As Heat-Resistant! This Design Is For One Use Only, Because To Get The Silicone Grip Out Of The Mold You'Ll Need An Lighter To Soften The Pla And Use Pliers So Open It. Also The Ts100 Negative Will Probably Break When Trying To Get It Out. But It Doesn'T Use Much Pla And Also You Should Probably Only Need One Try - Its Pretty Easy. :) An Mold Design Wich Allows Multiple Uses Would Probably Be Overkill And Also Leave Seams In The Silicone That Wouldn'T Look As Good :)
