Anet Full Graphics Display Mount for A8

Anet Full Graphics Display Mount for A8

Description

I Changed The Display On My A8 To The One That Comes On The A6, Commonly Found Online For About $15 As The "Anet Full Graphics Display". I Liked The Case/Adapter By Alkozin To Fit It Onto The Stock A8'S Frame, But It Sticks Out Far Enough To Hit The Parts On The X Gantry When Raised High Enough And Limits The Build Volume Height. I Made These Extra Parts To Raise The Display A Bit And Give You Some More Versatility With It. The Front Cover Is Just A Straight Copy From Alkozin, I Included It To Be Complete. The Rear Cover Screws Onto The Back Of His Front Cover, Enclosing The Display Board Inside With A Cutout For The Serial Cables To Plug In, And Has A Gopro Style Mount Built Right In. You Can Use That To Attach To Any Standard Camera Mounts You May Already Have If You'D Like, Which Makes For Nearly Endless Possibilities To Mount The Display Panel In It'S Case. I'Ve Also Made The "Base" Piece That Bolts Onto The Stock A8 Frame Using The Holes For The Old Stock Display. It Covers The Holes Left Behind, And Also Has The Mating Gopro Style Mount Integrated For Attaching The Display To If You'D Like To Go That Route. This Will Allow You To Adjust The Tilt Angle Of The Display To Your Liking. You'Ll Need The Bolt And Nut From A Gopro Mount To Attach The Two. In My Pictures You Can See I Used Some Gopro Mounting Arms To Extend My Display Up A Bit And Give Me A Little More Adjust-Ability As For As Positioning Goes. This Gives Me Ample Room To Clear My Extruder Assembly Which Is Taller Than The Stock A8 Setup To Achieve The Full 240Mm Build Height If Needed. I Printed These Parts At 0.2Mm Layer Height With 20% Infill Using Esun Pla Pro. Fyi, The Display Is Plug And Play With The Stock Anet Board, Though You Will Have To Change Up Some Things In The Firmware. I Had Marlin On My Board So It Was A Quick And Easy Change In The Config And Flash To Get It Working.
