Filament Bag Port
Description
In An Effort To Keep My Pla From Being Exposed To Too Much Moisture, I Kept The Rolls In The Bag And Cut Small Openings For The Pvc Pipe That Aligns With The Spool Center. I Pushed The Pipe Through The Bag, Through The Spool And Out The Other Side Of The Bag. I Kept The Desiccant In The Bag To Help Deal With Moisture. Now How Do I Get The Filament Out Of The Bag? Filament Bag Port! Snip Off A Small Corner Of The Plastic Bag, Put The Filament Through The Cone Shaped Opening. (This Is Designed For 1.75Mm Filament And You May Need To Use An Exacto Knife To Enlarge The Opening Of The Cone To Fit Your Filament.) Pur The Filament Through The Hole In The Corner Of The Bag You Made. Push The Cone Shaped Port Down The Filament Toward The Opening You Made In The Bag. Make Sure The Cone Is Sticking Out Of The Bag Opening And Then Push The Retaining Ring Onto The Port Making A Sandwich Out Of The Plastic Bag. Easy Access To Your Filament And A Decent Moisture Barrier.
