Aluminum Spare Wheel Center Plug for RV Bumper Mount
Description
I Swapped Out A White Steel Wheel For A Matching Aluminum Mag. It'S Much Thicker Without Much Flat Face For The Lower Mount Bracket/Plate So It Would Have Required Quite A Trim To Fit. Also That Metal Bracket Marked Up The Factory Wheel Pretty Good And I Didn'T Want It Buggering Up The Pretty New Wheel So This Flanged Plug Was My Answer To The Problem. Wheel Bore 3.19" (81Mm) So I Made The Plug Diameter 79Mm By 20Mm Deep With A 5Mm Flange. The Flat Spot Was To Ensure The Top Lug Socket Wouldn'T Be Blocked By The Flange Though I Took Off A Bit More Just Because. Added Backplate/Spacer To Eliminate Bolt Play And A Recessed Plug To Accommodate Using The Short Bolts That Came With My Stromberg Carlson Tr-1 Universal Rigid Tire Carrier.
