Masterspool with flat sides and printed distances
Description
Update 10.06.2018: Version 2: Changed Bearing Distance So They Do Not Fall Out If Screw Is Removed, Changed Sides - Slots Are Open To The Outside. Added Picture Of My First 3 Masterspools - Waiting For Refill To Be Delivered. Version 1: I Like The Idea Of The Masterspool Very Much, But Did Not Find A Spool Suitable For Me. I'M Using A M8 Threaded Rod For The Spool Holder With 608Zz Bearings In My Spools - Until Today, There Is No Masterspool On Thingiverse Featuring 608Zz Bearings Directly. Printed Threads Do Not Come Out Of My Printer Very Well, So I Avoid Them Wherever I'M Able To. I Like The Idea Of The Little Masterspool To Use As Less Filament As Possible. I Have A Cnc Router At Home, So I Wanted Flat Sides To Be Milled - But You Can Print Them If You Like. They Do Have A Recess For The 608Zz Bearings, So They Do Not Fall Out. Assembly: -) Screw One "Side" Onto Three "Screw Distances", -) Add New Filament, -) Put In A M8 Screw To Center The "Bearing Distance", -) Screw On 2Nd "Side" Lenght Of "Bearing Distance" Should Be That Way, It Does Not Fall Out, If You Remove M8 Screw From Center. You'Ll Need 6 Countersunk Screws M4X10 And 2 Bearings 608Zz
