Anet A8 X Carriage with E3D V6 Hotend Mount + Radial Fan Mount (& Volcano Fan Duct)
Description
This Project Allows You To Mount An E3D-V6 Hotend With A Bowden Setup To Your Anet A8 (Or Other Prusa I3 Clones) With A Detachable Radial Fan Mount And A Detachable Tool Head For Other Mounts Such As A Pen Or Even Laser Mount. At The Moment, These Mounts Do Not Exist, But Maybe In The Future! The Design Was Inspired By Tech 2C'S Hypercube, With The E3D Mount Style And Position Of The Radial Fan Coming From His Design - Check Out His Design/Build Series On Youtube Of The Hypercube - It'S Very Informative And Interesting To See His Thought And Design Process. I Printed My Parts In Pla, But Plan To Use Petg In Future Iterations For The Added Strength. You Will Need: 2 X M3X12 Screws 3 X M3X25Mm 2 X M3 Around 10 M3 Bolts Notes - The Fan Mounting Holes In The X-Carriage Need To Be Drilled Through With A 3Mm Drill Bit As I Capped The Ends To Allow Better Printing Results, This Is The Same For The E3D V6 Mount Clamp Holes. For The Fan Duct, I Orientated The File 45 Degrees To Make The Top Part Of The Fan Bridge Perpendicularly To The Sides For A Very Good Print Result With No Supports. Settings: Layer Height - 0.25 (Just For Speedier Printing, Doesn'T Really Matter) Infill - 50% Shells - 3 I Use This Motor Mount With A Titan Extruder Also: Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2146021 Edit: I Have Added A Volcano Fan Duct That Should Be Compatible As It Was Drawn Using E3D Drawings For Size - But I Haven'T Tested It As I Don'T Own A Volcano - Can Anyone Confirm Its The Right Length? Cheers!
