Mount Kit (JeffCo)
Description
Update: 5/24/2018 I Added An Elbow To Mount 3 Items Onto One Arm. I Plan To Use It To Hold A Camera And An Led Light (Using A 30X70Mm Case). Check It Out! I Also Made A Mount With A 3Rd Screw Hole For Extra Demanding Mounts. I Picked The Mount That I Use The Most.

I Made A Couple Of Different Pi Camera Cases And Mounts, Etc. I Finally Decided To Make A Kit Out Of All Of My Mounting Accessories. I Even Made A Mountable Case For A 30X70Mm Project Board, Which I Used To Make A Led Light Array To Illuminate My 3D Printer.

I Included A Camera Mount That Fastens To The Z-Axis Of My Monoprice Maker Select V2 (Wanhao I3 Rebrand). You Can Either Strap It On The Left End Of The Rails With A Small Zip Tie Or Glue A Small Magnet To The Mount And It'Ll Stick On Its Own. If You Want To Use The Z-Axis Mount On The Right Side Instead Of The Left, Make A Mirror Of It In Your Slicer. There Are 3 With Different Length Booms On Each.

I Made Arms To Go Between The Mounts And The Camera Case Or Whatever You Put On It. Some Arms Are Long And Some Are Short. Some Have A 90 Degree Turn In Them. Look Them Over And You'Ll See What I Mean.

I Made One Pi Camera Case That Can Also Hold Eight 5Mm High Intensity Leds For Lighting. You Can Wire Them In Parallel And Put A 22 Ohm (Or Two 47 Ohms In Parallel To Handle The Wattage Better) Resistors.

There Is A Pedestal Mount Named "Stand Mount" Which I Designed To Have A 20Mm Magnet Glued To The Bottom So It Can Stick To Metallic Surface.

I Made A Mount With A Horizontal Hinge And One With A Vertical Hinge. I Made One Pair With Beveled Large Holes And A Pair With Small Holes For M2 Screws (For Mounting To My Pi Case).

If You Want To Make Other Things That Will Interface With This Hinge Design, Just Know That The Camera'S Single Blade Is 12X4Mm And 13Mm Long. The Double Blade On The Mount Is Made Of Two 3.9Mm Blades And 4.2Mm Gap. The Hinge Has 3.5Mm Screw Holes For M3 Screws.

The Piece Called Screw-Down Camera Mount Platform Is So You Can Screw It To The Mount So It Can Stand On A Table. It'S Made To Use M2 Self-Tapping Screws.

The Case For The 30X70Mm Project Board Needs 4-M2X8Mm Self-Tapping Screws. There Are Also Holes In The Case That Allow 22 Gauge Wire To Pass Through.

The Cases For The Pi Camera Need M2X6Mm Self-Tapping Screws.

All Hinges Use M3X16Mm Screws And Nut. I Opt To Use A Washer With Each Screw.

There Is One Mount With No Hinge. This Is Just To Feed Cables Through To Keep Them Out Of The Way. All Of The Mounts Have A Wide Slit In Them To Feed The Camera Ribbon Cable Through If Needed.
