P2020 3D Printer

Description

This Is My Big P2020 3D Printer. It Took About 3 Months To Build In My Spare Time. I Already Have An M3D (Terrible Printer) And A Chinese I3 Clone. I Wanted A Printer With The Rigidity Of The M3D And Print Quality Better Than The I3 And At A Larger Print Volume. So I Modeled The Design After A Mix Between The Cr-10 And The Lulzbot Taz 6. Here Is A Video Of It Printing. Https://Youtu.Be/W-Ai7Jbp3Dq The Printer Specs Are As Follows: 640Mm Wide 450Mm Tall 440Mm Deep 300X300X300Mm Build Volume 12V 30A Dc Power Supply External Heater Module (For The Bed) E3D V6 Hot End Noctua Fans Geeetech Gt2560 10X20Mm Drag Chains Silicone Jacketed Wire Where It Counts 2020 80/20 Extrusion Frame (I Dont Recommend 80/20 T-Slot, Too Narrow Of An Opening) 2020 V-Slot Extrusion (X And Z Axis) With Mini V-Slot Wheels And Plates 2060 V-Slot Extrusion (Y Axis) With Normal Large Sized Wheels And A Universal Plate And Tons Of Hardware! I Had No Idea It Would Be So Heavy, But It Is Quite Solid. I Can Print With It On Its Side! I Can Also Pick It Up And Move It Around While It Prints With No Effect On Print Quality. One Of The Best Parts, Is That It Is Modular. I Was Thinking How Cool It Would Be To Build One With The Frame Rotated 90 Degrees With The Electronics In The Bottom Like An Ultimaker. If You Plan On Making This, Let Me Know If You Want Advice Or Have Any Questions About Sourcing Specific Parts Or Hurdles To Overcome. Like How I De-Jacketed An Ethernet Cable To Use As Longer Wires For The Fans And Sensors For The Print Head. The Wire In Those Cables Meets The Specs For Most Applications In The Printers And Lengths Can Be Cut To Size. Let Me Know What You Think! Amazon Link To The Parts I Sourced From There. I Had Prime So I Took Advantage Of That "Free" 2 Day Shipping. Https://Amazon.Com/Ideas/Amzn1.Account.Ahut6Q675Z5Ongjdfwmqdafofm2Q/2Wac2Gfbeu8J9?Ref=Idea_Share
