C920 Webcam mount for the Prusa i3 MK3
Description
Logitech C920 Webcam Mounts For The Prusa I3 Mk3. I Have Designed 4 Versions 2 Left And 2 Right. I Have Made An 80 Mm Length And A 120 Mm Length. Both Have Worked Great For Me. I Have Not Had Any Issues With The 4 I Have Printed And Used To Test Them Out. This Is A Simple Slide On Design That Fits Snug. This Is My First Design So I Hope Everything Prints Well For Everyone That Uses It. ** It Has Not Been Affected By The Heated Bed. I Have Only Printed Pla With It So Far So That Might Change With The Higher Temp Bed Temps.** I Like The 110 Mm Version With This Camera Since It Will Give You A Little More Of The Print Bed. This Will Also Work With Other Cameras That Have The 1/4-20 Screw Into The Base. **Updated: 11/7/2018** I Have Added A Couple Mounts As Asked For In The Comments. These Will Are 85Mm Long Like The Regular Mounts But Then Bend Back 90 Degrees With 85 Mm Legs. What You Should Get Is The Camera Mounted On The Diagonal Of The Bed. **Updated: 10/10/2018** I Have Added A 150 Mm Right And Left Extention. This Should Clear The Update To The Extruder. I Have Not Updated My Machine But Just Guessed On This One So If Anyone Has Any Issues Please Let Me Know. **Updated: 06-09-2018** I Have Added A Couple Parts That Can Be Used To Raise The Camera Up. I Prefer The Extended Block With The Screw Built In Mounted On The Right 110 Mm Bracket. The Only Thing I Do Not Like About It Is The Screw That Goes Into The Camera On The Block. It Does Not Tighten Up All The Way With The Camera Facing The Way I Want. If You Try To Force It The Screw Breaks Off. Here Is How I Mounted It: I Screw The Block Into The Camera **Snug** And Then Attach The Block To The Mount Turning The Block To Face The Camera The Direction I Want. The Other Riser Extension Is Another Mount That Has A Riser In The Camera End And 1/4-20 Screw Hole Threaded Into The Other End. You Can Take A 1/4-20 X 1/2 Inch Screw Through The Slide On Mount And Screw That Into The Extended Riser. Then On The Camera End Screw A 1/4-20 X 1 Inch Screw Through The Block Into The Camera. **Updated: 7/10/2018** Added A Large Extention Riser. Use A 2" 1/4 -20 Screw To Attach Through Mount Into Camera. I Decided To Make This One After I Hit The Camera And Snapped Off The Threaded Screw On The Other Riser. This Will Solve That Issue. :-) **Updated: 10/10/2018** I Have Added A 150 Mm Right And Left Extention. This Should Clear The Update To The Extruder. I Have Not Updated My Machine But Just Guessed On This One So If Anyone Has Any Issues Please Let Me Know.
