Rubber Dampeners / Gummifüsse

This ist an assortment of rubber dampeners, ranging from the generic to the rather bizarre. The Idea is for you to chose which one might be helpful to you with your specific needs for your project. They are all by default 20x20x5mm in size and can of course be resized in your slicer, fitting your specific needs.

Why the different Shapes? Because every dampener has individual characteristics, how robust it should be, how it should dampen vibration / noise, how much friction it should provide to the surface, and so on. The Idea with most of the dampeners is to attach double sided adhesion tape (or glue if you like) to them and then to stick them to the desired object. Two of the dampeners have screw holes in the middle (2mm in size at 20x20mm) and two are rather fractal in nature (to experiment if you like). To get different characteristics you can use different materials to print them, though TPU is the obvious choice. Depending on the hardness of your TPU you can also experiment in the slicer with different infills and different infill percentages (or use none) and also different numbers of walls / bottom layers / top layers to make the dampener either softer or harder and more robust. Dies ist eine Sammlung von Gummidämpfern, bzw. Gummifüßen, die vom simplen bis zum eher bizarren reicht. Die Idee dabei ist, dass du selbt auswählen kannst was für dich in deinem spezifischen Fall und für dein Projekt hilfreich ist.

Weshalb die unterschiedlichen Formen? Weil jeder Dämpfer individuelle Eigenschaften hat was die Robustheit, die Schall und Vibrations-Dämpfungscharakteristik, Standfestigkeit / Reibung usw. angeht. Um die Dämpfer am Objekt zu befestigen kannst du doppelseitiges Klebeband (oder Klebstoff) verwenden. Zwei der Dämpfer haben Schraubenlöcher für eine Schraubmontage (2mm Innendurchmesser bei 20x20mm) und zwei der Dämpfer haben eine eher fraktale Oberfläche (fühl dich frei damit zu experimentieren). Um unterschiedliche Eigenschaften zu erhalten kann man unterschiedliches Filament benutzen, obwohl sich TPU hier natürlich zuerst anbietet. Abhängig von der Härte des TPU kann man im slicer natürlich mit Parametern wie wall-thickness (Anzahl der Walls), Anzahl der bottom und top layers hermspielen um die dämpfer eher soft oder härter und robuster zu machen.
