This is a Work in Progress (though it has now been printed and works). Thanks to Ghostbomb13, bobopalo, and JamieMa for providing makes and information to improve this design. Thanks also to Idymanow whose design this is a remix of. This is a sort-a-remix of the Asus RT-AC68U Wall mount bracket by ldymanow. I could not modify his files since they are STL and my CAD program cannot digest them into objects so I ended up using the dimensions, which were just as important. The rest is from scratch - so I am not sure if it will fit the same or not. This version has added holes for a pair of 80mm fans, and a French cleat style wall mount. I plan to use these USB PWM fans with this: https://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-MULTIFAN-Receiver-Playstation/dp/B00IJ2J2K0/ STEP file is included for easy remixing. I have not printed or tested this yet, and will update when I do. The files are not oriented for printing. Interesting fact I found out the hard way; a noisy device placed on the network can drive the CPU temps on an Asus RT-68U through the roof (see the pic). I did not seem to damage the router though, and once I removed the problem device (an HDMI sender), all was back to "normal". Ultimately, adding some VLAN switches to contain the noise was the fix. Update - I just bought a new router on PrimeDay so printing this is at minimum going to the far back burner and maybe never if won't be using this router. I will leave this up here though in case anyone wants to try it, or use the STP files. UPDATE 2 (8-13-2021) - Thanks to some feedback and a make, I was advised that on what looks like an updated version of the RT-AC68U, the antennas are 15mm at the base. The original model had holes that were 11mm which the antennas would go through, so I updated them to be 15mm. The 15mm version is untested and named "ASUS-AC-68U-Fan_holder-1L-15mm-ANTENNAS.stl". I also uploaded a version of the base which screws into the fan mount part. The only change with the base is a slot to route cables through, however I will also leave the original in case that is preferred. The new base design is called "ASUS-AC-68U-Fan_holder-1L-base-CABLE-MGMT.stl". Finally I will upload the STEP for the new design (and will also leave the old here for the version with 11mm antenna holes). I will add a pic which shows the design with the 15mm holes.
